Buyer Electronic Address

Since the electronic invoice must be transmitted and requires lifecycle status updates, the Buyer's email address (BT-49) is REQUIRED. This is the email address to which the invoice is sent (excluding self-invoices), as well as the lifecycle status updates for the BUYER.

For your information (governed by other rules):

For invoices outside the scope of self-billing and within the "e-invoicing" framework, this email address MUST be in the format "SIREN" or "SIREN_XXX", where SIREN is the Buyer's SIREN number entered in BT-47, with a schemeId (BT-49-1) = 0225.

For invoices outside the scope of "e-invoicing" or within the scope of self-billing issued by the Buyer, the Buyer's email address MUST be in one of the schemesIDs from the EAS code list (including an email address, with schemeId (BT-49-1) = EM).

For invoices made available on a portal, an email address (schemeId (BT-49-1) = EM) of the type "noreply@buyerdomain" can be used to indicate the absence of a Buyer email address.
